CreateDeck
Terms of Service
Effective date: launch day.
By installing or using CreateDeck, you agree to these Terms. They are a contract between you and Perry Hampton (the developer of CreateDeck, "we," "us").
The service
CreateDeck is a content-creation tool that uses AI to help you turn voice memos into structured posts. We're not the author of what you create — you are, and you own everything you write.
What you can and can't do
You agree:
- To not use CreateDeck to generate content that violates applicable laws (defamation, incitement, child exploitation, copyright infringement, etc.).
- To not reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically abuse the service.
- To not share API keys or sign-in credentials with others.
- To respect Anthropic's, OpenAI's, and Apple's terms when using the services CreateDeck connects to.
We may disable accounts or revoke access for users who violate these terms or abuse the service.
Ownership and license
- You own your content. Every idea, transcript, hook, beat, post, and adaptation you create is yours.
- We claim no ownership of any content you generate inside CreateDeck.
- The CreateDeck software, name, and design are owned by Perry Hampton. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it for personal or business content creation.
Subscriptions
- Pro and Studio are auto-renewing subscriptions. Manage or cancel them from iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- The 7-day free trial converts to paid unless you cancel before it ends.
- Pricing displayed in the app is the price you'll be charged in your local currency.
- All charges go through Apple. We never see your payment information.
AI-generated content
CreateDeck uses third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI Whisper). AI output can be wrong, biased, or hallucinated. You're responsible for what you publish. Read what the AI generates, edit it, fact-check claims before posting.
Liability
CreateDeck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Lost content (back up anything important. iCloud sync is opt-in.)
- Lost revenue from social media performance
- Content that you publish using CreateDeck output
- Service interruptions in third-party APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Apple)
Our total liability for any claim related to CreateDeck is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Termination
You can stop using CreateDeck and delete the app at any time. We can terminate your account if you violate these terms. Subscriptions you've paid for run through the end of the current period.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use after the update means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
